God’s Word, through LHM radio program, averts suicide

CAIRO, Egypt: All people are sinners. However, many people do not necessarily feel guilt or the desire to stop committing even the most common of sins. Nivine is not one of those people.
Nivine said his life was “devastated and in ruins” because of sins many people do not think twice about.
“I lived in hell every day; cussing, swearing, (through) TV, and by having evil thoughts. So many things that didn't please God,” said Nivine.

Face-to-face meeting changes life for former Imam

ACCRA, Ghana: Each day, Lutheran Hour Ministries (LHM) staffs and volunteers in every ministry center worldwide reach out to hearts in need of God’s Word. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, international LHM directors, like John Donkoh in Ghana, are able to reach hundreds and thousands of people each month through a variety of media.
Radio and television are used where possible and practicable, but, much of the time, face-to-face interaction is the most effective way to put a face on Christianity for those who don’t understand.
