July 7-8, 2007, LHM-Cameroon was invited to travel to Nkoteng to accompany a Group of Lutheran Youth from the Yaounde 's Congregation of Djoungolo I. The Lutheran Youth Group was on an evangelistical tour and played the role of a Choir by organizing a mini concert on July 7, from 7-10:30 PM.

LHM-C was present at the 2007 Detainees' Sunday. This took place June 24, 2007 at the Yaoundé central prison of Nkondengui. The detainees' Sunday is the only Sunday in a whole year that Christians think about those who have lost their freedom in the society. Read more

Lutheran Hour Ministries' center in Cameroon is called The Voice of Hope – Lutheran Hour Ministries. The ministry center in Cameroon has been open since February of 2001. In the years since its opening, The Voice of Hope – LHM has found much strength in their Equipping the Saints program. By training people of the community to help spread the Gospel of Christ, the ministry center can touch more lives through its volunteers and their passion for communicating God's love. Read more

Cameroon is the only West African country with two official languages: French and English. Currently, the main language for the ministry will be French, but English will be introduced as soon as the French-speaking ministry has been fully established. Read more

New LHM Ministry Center Opens in Chile
Lutheran Hour Ministries is working with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Republic of Chile (IELCHI) on a mission project to plant churches in Chile's capital. A new Cristo Para Todas Las Naciones (CPTLN) ministry center opened June 1, in the megacity of Santiago, Chile. The Santiago metro area has over six million inhabitants living in 35 separate communities. Read more
