The Brethren Lutheran Church of Cameroon, at its Congregation of Mimboman, Yaoundé, was the venue where the LHM-C held its first Equipping The Saints (ETS) workshop for 2007 - 2008.
The workshop trained some 25 ETS volunteers, all members of that congregation. Presentations on our ETS Modules and other themes, such as, "The Vision of Evangelization in Urban Centers, How to Lead a Bible Study Group, etc." were shared with participants by five (5) different guest speakers.
Songs and plays were performed by the Drama group of the LHM-Cameroon, and these performances gave rooms to a lot of dancing as during the time of performing many participants joined the group. The plays they presented were of great insight to many of us.

The Workshop ended on Saturday 18 of August at 6 pm, but the staff and volunteers of the Ministry Center were invited to attend the worship service on Sunday August 19, with the hosting Congregation. In this regard, we were warmly welcomed, and during the service the authorities of the Congregation seized the opportunity to thank LHM-Cameroon for the workshop. "This workshop was a wonderful opportunity for the entire Congregation to learn about the reaching out ministry of the Church", said the President of the Congregation. For LHM-Cameroon, this was also a great opportunity to hand out diplomas to 29 BCC students of the Congregation who completed their courses.

The August 17-18 ETS workshop at the Lutheran Congregation of Mimboman was the first of its kind since in the past years, we used to organize ETS seminars that bring together participants from various Congregations and Districts of different church bodies. In fact, this was the first time LHM-Cameroon experienced a workshop where all the volunteers were from the same hosting Congregation, although our guest speakers at that ETS seminar came from various Congregations.

Our up coming workshops will look alike, since our experience of the ETS at Mimboman Congregation of the BLCC was very much appreciated by the participants and the Church authorities, who asked us to come again to train more of the Congregation's members in evangelism.
Our vision is to cover the entire territory of Cameroon with these ETS seminars. How will this work out? We pray that God gives us means to do so. This is also a prayer request to the attention of our partners in the Ministry.
May the Almighty, the Father of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ bless the seed we sowed during this ETS, so that it can bear fruit for His glory!
