LMM MOVES INTO NEW BUILDING

It's really nice to link up with you on such a special and eventful moment at our office. Hope you're all well and doing by the grace of God. We all are too but very busy at the moment in the office here.

You should see the state of this place as I type this mail to you. So very chaotic and muddled, but a glimpse of the place would promptly suggest to anyone what is going on. The NEWS is that the long awaited time is nigh and we're packing bag and baggage HOME FOR GOOD! You cannot imagine our excitement here. We've been yearning for this moment all these years. A time when we would reside in a place we can call our own. Thank God the time has finally come and we would not waste time at all to snatch it.

Oh, you should see our new home, the place we're moving to. I just cannot find the adjectives to describe it aptly to you. It is so magnificent, beautiful, spacious and sited in a serene atmosphere. The area is a well developed one where one would mostly find the urban rich and well educated people. For this reason, the community is well-planned and loaded with beautifully arranged luxurious buildings. The roads are also well demarcated, neatly tarred and very wide, making driving on them so nice and easy. Taking a stroll in the area when the sun is down is in fact, so refreshing as the breeze is very cool and fresh. Though we would now be driving to the other side of town unlike previously, we find our new abode more homely and so inspiring. We certainly can work better there and would have absolute independence to do so. The best part about this place is that our Ministry has purchased it and so it would be OUR HOME FOREVER. Isn't that great?

The space at our new home also enables us to expand our Ministry's goals and areas of operation. In view of this, we have plans of establishing our own recording studio to enable us cut cost on the numerous radio and musical programs we record for broadcasting. This has become necessary as we have come to a realization of how enormous our yearly budget on recording alone is. Our decision in respect of this would certainly have tremendous long term benefits. Pray for us to realize this dream!

Our relocation is again beneficial as it would enable us access a new target group which we are sure we would enjoy working with. There are several schools in our new community whose children would be interested in our Bible Correspondence Course. Access to a great audience for our musical and drama programs is also assured while the LMM staff also currently feels motivated to work harder with their relocation.

Obviously, we are on the road to achieving greater laurels in the life of the Lutheran Media Ministry Ghana and we pray our good Lord grants us the grace to get there peacefully. We would keep you informed when we settle down at our new home but for the time being, we need your support in prayers and all.

Yours in Christ,
LMM- GHANA.

President of International Lutheran Laymen's League Visits Ghana

The President of the International Lutheran Laymen's League, Mr. John W. Kidwell, and the Executive Director of the Lutheran Hour Ministries, Mr. Donald Bennett, have arrived in the country to participate in the activities marking the 10th anniversary of Lutheran Media Ministry, Ghana.
